Question 1

How far in advance do I need to book a cleaner?

Accepted Answer

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice on any booking — whether it's an on-demand Clean Now request or a scheduled Reserve clean. You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before the clean.

Question 2

How much does a clean cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the type of clean and how long it takes. Browse and book as usual — you'll see your full price the moment you confirm your booking, and nothing is charged until then.

Question 3

Are your cleaners insured and vetted?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every USparkle Squad cleaner is checked before they can accept work: government photo ID, right to work, DBS check, public liability insurance, and a signed self-employed contractor agreement. Their profile photo and verification status show on your booking.

Question 4

Which areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We accept bookings across the UK, Europe, the USA and the Middle East. Pick your country from the map-pin menu at the top of the page, enter your postcode or ZIP code at checkout, and we match you with the nearest available vetted cleaner. If nobody is nearby, you can widen the search or switch to a scheduled clean.

Question 5

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

You pay by card upfront at checkout: your card is authorised when the search begins and captured when a cleaner accepts your job. If no cleaner accepts, the hold is released automatically in full. Tips after the clean go 100% to your cleaner and are charged to the same card.

Question 6

Do cleaners bring their own cleaning supplies?

Accepted Answer

It depends on what you need — many of our cleaners bring their own kit, but you can note your preference in the access instructions when booking (for example, your own products for allergy reasons). For ovens and heavy limescale we recommend booking the USparkle Deep service.

Question 7

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes — free self-service changes and cancellation any time more than 48 hours before your clean, straight from your booking reference page. Within 48 hours, our policy terms apply because your cleaner's time is already reserved.

Question 8

What if no cleaner accepts my request?

Accepted Answer

Cleaners near you get the request first and have 30 seconds to accept. If three nearby cleaners miss it, we stop the search, release the payment hold automatically, and you can expand the search radius or pick a scheduled time instead.
