1. Safety

Keep yourself, the customer and the home safe on every job.

  • Never mix cleaning products, especially bleach with anything else
  • Put out a wet floor sign or warn people when floors are wet
  • Use a proper step, never a chair, to reach high places
  • Never touch plugs or sockets with wet hands or a wet cloth
  • If you feel unsafe, leave and report it in the app the same day

2. Hygiene

Clean in a way that stops germs spreading from room to room.

  • Wash your hands before you start, after the bathroom and before you leave
  • Use colour-coded cloths: red for toilets, blue for general areas, green for kitchens
  • Never use a toilet cloth anywhere else
  • Clean from top to bottom and from clean areas to dirty areas
  • Wear gloves for toilets, bins and strong products

3. Service standards

Give every customer a friendly, careful, reliable clean.

  • Greet the customer politely and check if they have any special requests
  • Follow the job checklist in the app so nothing is missed
  • Treat the home with care; report any breakage straight away, never hide it
  • Never go into rooms or cupboards you were not asked to clean
  • Before leaving, do a final walk-round and take photos in the app

4. Attendance and time keeping

Customers rely on you arriving on time, every time.

  • Arrive on time; plan your journey and leave early
  • Check in with the app when you arrive and check out when you leave
  • If you are running late, tell the customer through the app straight away
  • If you cannot do a job, release it in the app as early as possible, at least 24 hours before
  • Stay for the full booked time
