Insured & vetted

Automatic invoices

Every clock-out creates an invoice line for your records.

1. About you
2. Public liability insurance

Mandatory. You cannot claim or accept jobs until the office has verified a current certificate with at least £1m cover.

3. Proof of address

A bank statement or household bill dated in the last 3 months, showing your name and address. Admin-only — customers never see it.

4. Identity selfie

Take a live selfie

Used to confirm the person on site is you. You can also be asked for a quick selfie when clocking in.

5. Self-employed contractor agreement

v1.2 (UK self-employed contractor terms)

1. Independent contractor status

You are engaged as a self-employed independent contractor, not an employee or worker of USparkle & Co. Nothing in this agreement creates a contract of employment, and you are free to accept or decline any job offered through the platform, and to work for others.

2. Tax, National Insurance and self-assessment

You are solely responsible for registering with HMRC as self-employed, for filing your own self-assessment tax return, and for paying your own Income Tax and Class 2/4 National Insurance contributions. No tax is deducted at source from your payouts.

3. Substitution and equipment

You control how the work is performed. Where you cannot attend a claimed job, you must release it through the app before the 48-hour cut-off so it can return to the open pool. You provide your own transport and may use your own equipment or materials supplied on site.

4. Quality standards

You agree to complete the published job checklist for each clean, to clock in and out on site as proof of service, and to maintain a customer rating consistent with agency standards. Repeated no-shows or unresolved quality complaints may end this agreement.

5. Non-circumvention

For 12 months after the last job introduced by USparkle & Co, you agree not to provide cleaning services directly to that customer outside the platform, nor to solicit platform customers away from the agency.

6. Liability and insurance

You must hold valid Public Liability Insurance of at least £1,000,000 for the duration of this agreement and supply a current certificate on request. You are liable for loss or damage caused by your own negligence, and you indemnify USparkle & Co against claims arising from your work.

7. Payment terms

Payouts are calculated from your verified clock-in and clock-out records at the agreed hourly contractor rate. An invoice line item is generated automatically on completion and paid on the next payout run.

Your signature is stored with the agreement version, date and time, and the device details of this session.
